Loyalty, Love, and Dedication
With three decades of dedicated service, Danielle Bozarth, our Chief Operating Officer, inspires us daily with her humor, heart, and steadfast commitment to our mission.
Danielle’s journey at God’s Pantry Food Bank began on May 30, 1995. When asked about her first day, she jokes, “I don’t remember my first day because that was 30 years ago!” But what she does remember, and what has kept her going all these years, is the incredible team she works with. “Even on the busiest days, working with a mission-focused team brings me joy,” she shares.
The values that guide Danielle are deeply rooted in her upbringing. Inspired by her mother, who taught her the importance of education and independence, Danielle has carried those lessons into every facet of her leadership. “My mother would always drill into our heads that you have to get a college degree, and you need to be able to stand on your own two feet,” Danielle recalls.
Danielle’s leadership philosophy is simple and powerful: make an impact. This advice from a mentor continues to guide how she leads and tackles challenges. She’s also picked up a few unexpected skills along the way; “My technology skills have definitely improved!” she says with a laugh.
Over the years, Danielle has seen countless bright spots in our community, but the Mobile Market and Mobile Pantry Program hold a special place in her heart. “Being able to bring groceries directly into communities, especially where lots of seniors live, means they don’t have to worry about transportation. That’s one of my favorites,” she says.
Her advice to young women hoping to lead in the nonprofit world? “Be strong, be confident, and make an impact.”
If Danielle had to sum up her career at God’s Pantry Food Bank in three words, she’d choose: loyalty, love, and dedication. “I’m so dedicated to this organization and the mission of making sure people are fed. I love this organization; I’m going to cry. And I’m loyal.”
As we celebrate Women's History Month, we thank Danielle for her compassion, leadership, and warmth at God's Pantry Food Bank. We appreciate the positive impact she makes each day and look forward to more years of her dedication and inspiration.
