March is National Nutrition Month!
In a study done in 2014, it was found that 90% of households report purchasing inexpensive, unhealthy food because they could not afford healthier options. Over 180,000 individuals receive food and essential items from God’s Pantry each year. Help us feed Central and Eastern Kentucky by donating to God’s Pantry. With your help, we can provide households with more nutritional meals.
Approximately 252,000 people in our 50 county service area are at risk of hunger, predominantly women, children, seniors, the working poor, and people with disabilities. You can help feed those in our community in many ways!
A monetary donation to God’s Pantry by clicking here. For monthly giving, $10 per month provides 573 meals in a year. Every $10 donation will provide $100 worth of food to a Kentucky family in need.
Other than monetary donations, there are opportunities to volunteer, advocate, and become involved with our various programs. You can even host a virtual food drive through our website. Help us make Kentucky healthier this March!
