School Based Pantry

The mission of the School Based Pantry Program is to alleviate child hunger in America through the provision of food to children and their families at school.  School Based Pantries are located on the grounds of a school intended to provide a more readily accessible source of food assistance to low-income students and their families. God’s Pantry Food Bank opened their first School Based Pantry Program in March 2015.

We are currently seeking weekly volunteers to assist with school pantries located at Bryan Station High School and Leestown Middle School. Volunteers will aid the Family Resource and Youth Services Coordinator with daily operation of the pantries, including checking students into the pantry, guiding them in their food selection, and stocking shelves as needed. Please contact Mary Jo Crouch for more information by emailing or calling (859) 288-5304.
